The adventure ran into Winter in disaster, they lost control of the drillship and it beached on an Alaskan island in a hurricane. I was watching live feeds on the net.

I watched all these drill rigs go through here in person they are giant. Major operations. I used to drive tugboats to Alaska 42 years ago towing stuff to Valdez for the Alaska pipeline operation.
The “new oil areas” in Alaska to go drill allowed by Trump would take years to produce any oil, don’t hold your breath. They have to ship that oil from Valdez on tankers it’s not CHEAP OIL.
Oil from N Dakota goes through Seattle to oil refineries here by train. That system is maxed out, there’s no room for more oil trains. The US refineries are all maxed out. All the new oil projects will take years and are very expensive, it won’t be cheap oil. We are now at war with Canada and Mexico.
We get a lot of oil from them so it’s going to be more expensive. No problems have been solved there are now new problems which make things worse than when Trump was re throned. Gas price could double this Summer if the Canada and Mexico situation gets worser. Cheap gas could take a while to produce you don’t just wave a magic wand and say the magic words.
